Since I was a child, I have always loved painting and drawing. It was a passion. Every year I would design the greeting cards for the whole family. Unfortunately I didn't go to an Art School. Moreover that would have been impossible because of poor health. I had always been attracted by painting and one day I offered a gouache to a dear friend of mine. The next day he bought me the painter's whole equipement. He has been my mentor since. For seven years I have perfected a technique of painting on spiderwebs. For a painting measuring 25 cm by 30, I need about 300 to 400 webs. This form of painting is very mystical. Then it all materialized in numerous exhibitions and awards in France: Paris, Bordeaux, Nantes, La Flèche, Nogent sur Oise, Domaine de Trevarez, and abroad in Belgium and Italy. |
